SALT LAKE CITY—The Economic Development Corporation of Utah (EDCUtah) along with Davis and Weber counties announced last week a new partnership to create an entity for economic development in the northern Utah region.
“This is a unique, innovative announcement where Weber and Davis Counties will pull together their resources for economic development and pull in more growth,” said Ben Hart, Deputy Director Governor’s Office of Economic Development at a press conference at EDCUtah. “We’ve looked around the country and have yet to see this happen in Utah. They’ve put aside their geopolitical differences and are willing to play in the same sandbox. I’m ecstatic to see this kind of partnership.”
