Elliott Receives USU Award

FARMINGTON—Davis County Commissioner Randy Elliott was selected recently to receive the 2020 Friend of Extension Award from Utah State University. It is the highest award given to someone outside the organization. Elliott has supported successful legislative funding for 21 new 4-H Program Coordinator positions throughout Utah and has also worked to preserve 4-H agriculture programs in Davis County by initiating and advocating for a future indoor and outdoor riding arena to be built at the USU Botanical Center in Kaysville, according to a release.
